Detroit Is A Good Looking City - But Don't Take Our Word For It

The Dime Building overlooks the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. Hart Plaza provides excellent views of the river, but also the cityscape. From Madison Avenue, Detroit's architectural heritage is clear.
Campus Martius Park is the center of Detroit. Local roads were laid out from its center. The Renaissance Center contains great shopping and dining, and is home to General Motors Corporation. The Guardian Building is one of Detroit's many art-deco masterpieces.
Woodward Avenue is Detroit's main street, running from the river to Pontiac, MI. One Kennedy Square is rising behind Au Bon Pan in Campus Martius Park. Compuware (right) and the 1001 Woodward Building (left) tower over the city center and fill the park each weekday afternoon with thousands of hungry employees.
